Id never patronize this place. The attorneys Stephanie and Justin pawned me off to their incompetent paralegal who was no help. That paralegal staffer, Shannon is a rude, disrespectful, piece of work. I asked her to set an appt and she rudely ignored me, turned her back and walked away. After I gave her a piece of my mind, only then was I given an appt. Worst most unprofessional law firm I've ever been to. Nope...

We are a HOA Condominium Association of 267 homes located in Howard County MD. Our community has worked with Justin Cameron from the law offices of Cameron Mericle for the past 10+ years. He has provided sound legal consult to the Board of Directors on a wide range of community matters. He and his firm excel at debt collection and delinquency reduction. Over the years, Mr. Cameron has recovered literally hundreds of thousands of dollars owed our community. Through his efforts our current delinquency rate is a mere 5%. Thanks to him, our community has achieved a strong financial posture. I would highly recommend Mr. Cameron and his firm to any community association seeking excellent legal counsel.

The Law Offices of Cameron Meticle are very unprofessional as well as unethical. The treat African Americans as though this wad the 1600s. They threw me off the parking lot illegally.

I have worked with this firm for almost 20 years and found that almost all individuals that complain are the ones who are not paying their condo fee's. If you do not pay your condo fee you create a financial strain on the comunity. You can not live free in this world unless you live in your mothers basement. It is a boards duties to make sure the association stays solvent and that includes going after owners that are not paying the condo fee so if you are complaining about legal actions then simply pay the condo fee. I know many owners that do not even know who the association's lawyer is because they are never contacted by them. If you own a HOA property and have never had a special assessment that required you to pay a specific amount of money in addition to your condo fee then you are lucky and you should thank your board for that. A special assessment is done when your property needs a repair that is not in your budget. It is in the bylaws that this can be done. Without a strong board of directors, management company and legal team a condo association can find itself in a terrible financial situation..

after reading these reviews I can attest to the fact that something is so wrong here.. Management company claims that they don't received your payment which is suppose to be sent to a bank but it ends up with the Law firm then they want to charge you late fees and atty fees when you payment was mailed out to them well in advance.. they bully and threaten you that they will file a lien on your property if you don't pay them and act like there is no recourse for you as a consumer ...it's amazing at their attitude and behavior even when they know they are at fault trying to force you to pay atty and you can't make anymore payment till then... I will be at every community meeting to make sure they are drop from representing this community.. the door to door will begin... appalled and disgusted..

Don't always take the advice of its customers even though it benefits them also.

I am an attorney who is in the process of helping two home owners who are in a community where the HOA has hired this firm to represent them. The firm interestingly has taken over the business of Hileman & Associates, P.A. which is no longer in business. There are many questionable issues with the documents submitted, their attempt to collect HOA fees, and the filing of liens in the Circuit Court. Most important were compliance issues with the By laws and Declaration of Covenants of the HOA.

The case has yet to go to Trial and we are in the process of requesting the Court for a further date so that the true situation could be investigated. I have worked with financially distressed clients where licensed debt collectors such as this firm have engaged in blatant fraud, where documents have been forged etc.

The reason for this review is to warn non-lawyers not to take anything said in the name of an attorney, whatever the circumstances, as factual or reflective of truth. A good resource for people challenging the activities of Debt Collectors, such as this firm, is the Federal Trade Commission, where you maybe able to file a complaint.

One of the 5 star reviewers - Franchesca Nelson, maybe an employee of the firm. I am corresponding and have corresponded with a person from the firm with the same name.

I also wish to add that, as an attorney, I am aware that a defense to writing a review whether favorable or unfavorable, is the truth. I have material to support what I have stated in this review.

This is a collection law firm, meaning if you are behind on payments then you will be contacted to collect what is owed. For those who have such a negative opinion about this company, you're probably the ones whose account was so delinquent, nothing could be done to help, not even God himself could pull you out. Cameron Mericle is a company that takes pride in their work and try to accomodate all homeowners (rude and polite, alike).

The law office is fraudulent to say the least. I think they should be investigated. Not only that they try to get away with fraudulent legal fees, they actually get away with alot of fraudulent activities. This guy's can stamp you with whatever they wish. They are rude, racist and unprofessional. This people shouldn't be in business. Please don't contract with this idiots.

I agree, they try to get away with collecting fraudulent legal fees. They came after me after I was completely "paid in full." The case was immediately dismissed in court by them as the plaintiff because they knew they couldn't win. But they're still trying to collect money from me after the dismissal. Now they continue to file false liens against my property.

They are totally rude and unprofessional. A title company that tried to contact them said that they were the worst they had ever seen.

I have used this law firm for many of the community Association for Legal Representation as well as Collection and have seen extraordinary results. I highly recommend this firm and when possible, switch any of the Associations I manage to them.

This office is the attorney for my community in Laurel, Md. They are unethical, relentless and a majority of their revenue appears to come in fraudulent legal fees. They collude with property management companies and home owners associations to create impossible situations for homeowners under the guise of representing the board. I am following up with the state's attorney's office today because we as homeowners need to know and be aware of law firms that operate with the emphasis on taking homes.
