Complete lack of professional integrity. They wrote blatant lies on the appraisal. They claimed kitchen was updated 1-5 years ago when there were photos online of the house sale 15 years prior showing not a single appliance, cabinet or countertop had been touched. Countertops were clearly beat up and showing signs of their 30 years of age. They continued to claim other upgrades that the house did not have, because anyone with a brain and google could find the old photos of the house and because everything looked like it is from the 70s. Their incompetence continued with saying that the house needed no repairs, when it had clear VA safety violations. Added to that they treated all finished basements as equal on their comparisons -- basements which were just a rec room and walk-out basements with full kitchens, 2 bathrooms and a theater! They additionally decided to go 2 miles away for comparison houses.
