Anthony is awesome! I had him test my computer to see why it wouldn't go past the black and red "Toshiba" screen. He ran a test to see if I could just have Windows reinstalled, but that test failed, so I had him replace my harddrive. I was super impressed that he tested it to see if there was a "cheaper option" first though, it seems like most places won't do that!
THEN, when I went to pickup my computer, I asked, "Hey, you restore data? I broke another computer about 3 or 4 years ago when I dropped it but nothing turns on so I know that I really toasted it. Another computer place said they'd have to send it to a special place and it would be over $1,000 to even attempt recover anything and even then it's a 50/50 chance that they will be able to get anything off of it, and I've just been keeping it behind my seat in my hot pickup for years, not wanting to get rid of it because of sentimental pictures on it."
I asked because I saw that he advertised data recovery inside the shop and had noticed in when I originally went in with my current computer. I did not have high hopes, but sure enough I get a call the next day telling me he was able to recover EVERYTHING! I was shocked. So then I pick up the thumb drive that contains all of my old files that I previously thought were unrecoverable. And it only cost me $90!!!
I was going to write a review at that time but didn't have internet set up at my new place then. I have since gotten internet and also just went through the thumb drive with all of my files, including pictures of my dog when he was a young pup, and am in tears right now. I am so grateful that I went to Molinas' and that I thought to ask him that question about data recovery, because in my mind at the time I even thought that maybe I shouldn't even ask because I thought no one would be able to recover the data.
I am so happy I was able to get these precious memories recovered! I can't say enough good things about this place. Also, my Nanna had originally recommended me, so I don't think my experience was a one-off!
