I regret my decision in going with this firm for my case. They came recommended by a friend of a friend...who also regrets their decision. I don't feel like a priority to Mr. Reed nor his team. I don't even feel like they care about my case at all now that they've gotten paid. WEEKS go by without a response from them on a question. If you try to call the office, you are given the runaround. All in all, just a very frustrating experience. I know it's not recommended to file without an attorney, but I often wonder if I would have been better off. I feel like I do all of the legwork with my case anyway.

Everything negative you read about the firm is absolutely true!!!! If you are a potential client I urge you to read the reviews and decide for yourself! They are really nice and professional when you file but after that you’re on your own to do things or they keep trying to charge you. It is very clear that they see their clientele as substandard people not worthy of communication and professionalism!!!

These Attys really care about you and are very friendly they do all they can to help you

Very unprofessional firm. Once you have filed, you will no longer hear from Mr. Reed. You will be lucky to hear from any of his paralegals either. Ms. Un is a terrible communicator, and will urge you to ignore any communications you get regarding your case ('just file that way for your records' is what she'll say). She will tell you that they have it, and that you have nothing to worry about. All the while, they don't have it. And if you try to step in and get anything done on your own, they will threaten to file a motion to have your case dismissed. Buyer beware. I know they may seem like decent folks, but you don't need this kind of headache for the next several years as you work through your bankruptcy.

These people are a JOKE!!! The wife is the WORSE!!! I've never encountered someone that you PAY to not expect you to ask questions regarding YOUR money. Unfortunately because he is married to her he has to defend her unprofessional behavior and the rude way she talks to people as if you are beneath her. She does not give you any updates and if you receive something and reach out to ask what it is your told tuck it away in your files and go about your day instead of her explaining it. You pay for two lawyers but only deal with one and if you no longer want to deal with her and ask to only speak with him you're told "your email is blocked don't email me again" then followed up with him defending this unprofessional behavior with a email saying "don't call our office we will not answer you or your mother's calls. But yet I've paid you to do a job and paid in full. I had to reach out to the trustee MYSELF to get that clarification of where my BK was at in the process which was paid off completed and closed yet my discharge papers JUST got filed. This "lawyer" of 27yrs that feel as though that alone gives her the right not to be questioned. Its my money so if i ask every question under the sun about my money it should be answered by the person I'm paying instead I was accused of not wanting to pay an additional fee even though my BK was paid in full and their $3000 fee was too!! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS OFFICE unless you like unprofessional people.

Terrible customer service. Don't waste your time or money with this firm. If I could do it all over again, I would have gone somewhere else, or filed without an attorney. I ended up doing all of the work anyway.

Time management is not this firm's forte. It's amateurish how terrible their communication is. Once you have filed, good luck reaching them again.

Very unprofessional. Literally no help once you're a client. Won't take your calls, instead have someone who barely speaks English stall you on the phone until you get frustrated and hang up. Will take weeks to respond to emails.

Very professional, straight to the point, provided exactly what they said they did. Very personable with extra care to details and contacted me hourly to make sure that I understood the process. She went over and beyond the call of duty. Five stars is not enough!

If you have bills and can't get ahead then talk to David Reed law office they can help most of the time

I am currently a client with David A Reed. I have nothing but praises for Mr. Reed, Ms. Un and
associates.
All of my questions are answered in a timely manner. They are ready to assist you with every detail and they break down the whole process so I can understand my whole bankruptcy process.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I am blessed to have been referred here by a friend and co-worker.
I find it hard to believe those negative reviews. Anyone can post things to demean and ridicule people. Could it be that creditors or a disgruntled ex employee are actually posting negative reviews that aren't true?
If you are looking for a wonderful team to educate, calm and do a very good job for you during this hectic time in your life; I strongly recommend David A Reed and Associates!

This office sucks. You pay them and they refuse to be professionals. You call with a question, their response, Do not call us we have over a thousand clients. I did not email you my money.

They are very unprofessional !!!! They have no respect for time. They don't keep you update on nothing at all. I had a incident were I ended up having to handle everything on my own. This is just the beginning the worst is probably to follow. You basically do everything they should be doing. They want you to email them they get back to you days later. They are never on the same page !!!! Its irritating dealing with them. This is already a frustrating decision and they definitely make it worse !!!!!! They Suck!!!!!!

I would like to respond to the earlier post on this site. As a former client, I had an excellent experience with this office. I was referred by another law firm because that firm could not handle Ch. 13 cases. David Reed and his office handle both Ch. 7 and 13 and did such a good job for me that I sent my daughter there too. She also had a good experience. Their attorneys and staff are the best and were highly recommended. They made the experience of filing for bankruptcy easy and painless for both me and my daughter. Please talk to other clients and visit their office so you can make up your own mind.
