Awful. Doctors beware. Do not use these guys for auto accidents or personal injury, and if you do, please be sure that they get the lien first thing. They used my documentation to settle on a case, and because of the legal technicality of not receiving the patient's lien from me, they decided that they did not legally have to pay me from the patient's settlement. They did not inform the patient that they were responsible for bills, and now I have to go after the client. I understand why this was done legally, but it is clear that ethics is not a part of how these guys practice.

Update: If your clients interest were your priority, you would have informed them that they are responsible for any other additional bills they may have other than your own law firm's final bill. Now your client will have to deal with the headache of collections, and potentially legal litigation for non-payment. Your client did not come first, your office came first in this instance. Hopefully this doesn't happen to any other docs out there. I personally will never send anyone through this law firm, and will warn all other docs I affiliate with about this firm.
