A few weeks ago I was walking to an event at The Uptown Theater. I had parked in their upper overflow lot, as directed, and fell hard on a black ice patch that I hadn't seen. What at first seemed a possible severe left ankle sprain, has turned out to be 2 broken foot bones, weeks of crutches, casts, and rehabilitation.
