Let patients and their Dr. decide, vote yes on 2!!! Brought to you by a grass roots campaign, made up of thousands volunteers and everyday people. Not just one man!!
VOTE YES ON 2!
When inquiring, don't have a receptionist call and talk to you for 30 minutes listening to the whole storying(after having explained as much as I could in the 500 characters allowed on their website), then take 2 minutes to explain to someone (case worker) while I'm on hold, only to come back and be able to provide 0 explanation as to why (the case worker) says it is not a case Dr. Bradshaw would be interested in. The closest thing to an excuse was that he receives so many cases he has to turn down a lot. If that is the case I asked if there were any places they could refer me to (maybe 1 of the 4 other attorneys in the firm) or other local attorneys and the answer I got was to google local malpractice lawyers in your area (which is interesting because thats how I found you all). For brief background my grandfather (74) had to recently undergo bypass surgery for collapse stents that were left collapsed (for ~8 years unnoticed by the initial doctor who inserted them and following primary care physicians after that, no stress tests were performed, nothing) after initially being inserted. This caused several fainting and falling episodes before needing bypass surgery. Post bypass things have only gotten worse. Under medical care he has developed pneumonia, sepsis, and staph infections. He was in ICU as recently as last week and is still hospitalized. After explaining in further detail to the Receptionist that called me (who in all fairness was really nice) the whole story for 30 minutes, it took her 2 minutes to go talk to a case worker (and leave me on hold) only to come back and relay their lack of interest in the case on behalf of Dr. Bradshaw. When I began asking more questions, mainly because I felt like I was being blown off, the receptionist was upfront that she is not an attorney and that even the case worker didn't provide the reasons for the lack of interest. She did say that I would receive in the mail a more thorough rejection letter (some boiler plate i'm sure). Also this was the initial inquiry with you all. I didn't even have all the documents and facts in front of me that would be necessary for a case and would easily paint a more clear picture of where I believe several cases of malpractice have been performed. I would have assumed that I would present those during something like the "Free Consultations" you all advertise everywhere on the internet and tv. I feel that because my case wasn't a Semi truck hitting him and severing his spinal cord and spilling talc powder all over me in the process or something similar to the "winning cases" presented on Dr. Bradshaw's website, that it was simply brushed off in seeking other low hanging fruit. Very disappointed in the handling of an initial inquiry and disappointed in what you advertise as a "free consultation." I am a reasonable person and understand he or his firm can't take on every single case but I didn't realize I would be with an unqualified receptionist, in which case I rely on her to relay the story correctly to some case worker for my "free consultation." Very Disappointing.
