Words cannot begin to express how thankful we are to you for all that you have done for us these past four years. Saying "thank you" somehow doesn't seem to even scratch the surface of how we truly feel.
When my life became a living nightmare four years ago, I don't know what we would have done without you to stand up and fight all the uphill battles that needed to be fought on our behalf, especially when we knew all the odds were against us and I wasn't feeling strong enough to fight myself. When I look back and replay all that happened, I still wonder how I got through it all. I know that without you on our side, our nightmare probably would have had a much different ending. I also realize that it was not an easy case in a lot of ways. Besides the odds being stacked against us, you were also stalked and harassed just because you were our attorney. You could have bailed out, but you didn't.
Then the time came to fight back and reclaim a small piece of justice and try to "right" some of the "wrongs" that happened. It meant a lot to me that you believed so strongly in my cause and agreed to take this case even though it was an area of the law which would not be easy to litigate and win. I know that you put a lot of heart and soul in to representing me in this case. You are so much more to me than just "my attorneys."
