I’ve hired Mrs. Dolan on two different occasions and for two entirely different situations and absolutely 2 winning victories. She is very confident and knowledgeable. I didn’t have to do anything for my cases she took care of everything. Mrs. Dolan is very down to earth and personable. I would highly recommend Mrs. Dolan. She was recommended by another good lawyer. I’m so glad I have Mrs. Dolan as my lawyer and I know you will be too!

Kathleen Dolan was my attorney from Kennedy and Dolan. Kathleen was down to earth, no nonsense and very easy to talk with. She will work hard for you and give you her absolute best. She is an rude attorney who doesn't know her work. She came to visit me over the jail for no more than five minutes asked me nothing about my case gave me her number and told me do not call her asking about my case. I was locked up 2 months ago I hired she promised to get me out on house arrest the week before Thanksgiving which never happen. While in court the judge read off charges that I didn't commit and I tried to get her my lawyer I hired as a mouthpiece to protest it. She had a nerve to tell me shut up I'm getting you the hell out of here which never happen. As I was leaving the court hearing she told me I will be out in a week. I had someone call her on three way while I was still incarcerated she had no knowledge I was on the phone she told my friend we gonna make him think it takes a week it really takes three weeks for the process. She informed my friend that she and the supervisor were good friends while that was a lie me and my family call her so called friends wasn't even the supervisor. I had a court appearance on November 30th that I didn't have to appear to because I had been indicted and she knew nothing about it I had to tell her that I had been indicted and my case was moved to circuit court. So called the house arrest ppl again and was informed that I had two open cases in another state. I knew wasnt me i asked Ms. Dolan to call the other state she told me i didn't know what i was talking about so me and my family again had to do our own footwork to get the paperwork cleared up. I was just released a week ago do to me and my family taking care of all of the paperwork. Kathleen called me a couple days ago asking did I get release yet if not she will come visit me maybe in her exact words... I know what I just typed about her maybe scrambled up but it's the truth and I'm still mad if I could give some negative stars I wld. I highly recommend no one uses her she doesn't need to have a license to practice law at all.

My first interaction with Kathleen showed me I did not want her to represent me. Your attorney is supposed to have your back and be informative for you. During the initial consult I had with her this evening she was extremely rude! She came right off questioning me "why in the hell" I was doing what I had been cited for. Never have I heard an attorney speak like that who is trying to gain your business as their client and help you with your case. Not even my own mother speaks in such a way. Clearly she did not have time for my case if she was going to speak to me in those tones. Needless to say, that conversation was cut short and I put a giant X through her name on my list. Such unprofessionalism. No manners. She even bargained lowering her rate if I just "went with her first option" but if I wanted her to work any harder for me she would charge me more. She was very outspoken with her lack of care and sincerity to help me in my situation. Move on, there are many better, more professional lawyers in this area!!

Kathleen Dolan is a nice lady. I would never hire her as a lawyer again. She was late to everything. She was late to court, she was late to meetings with me, she was late to answer phone calls. She didn't even show up to my first court hearing. I never felt like I could rely on her. In court she wasn't aware of court proceedings. The magistrate repeated had to inform her of proper procedures. At the time she was going through a death in the family however she shouldn't have handled my case if she didn't have the time, which she never did. In court her questioning never made any strategical or logical sense. It was sporadic and all over the place. I was very disappointed with her because she talks a big game, but it was horrible. I feel like she misrepresented her experience to me. I only had one meeting with her during my entire case and it was after I had lost. I found a new lawyer got my case retried and dismissed.

Had a great outcome couple years ago with a DUI charge with Mrs Dolan representing me. So any traffic tickets I get, I don't hesitate to call her. She knows her stuff, and is well connected.

Do not hire Kathleen Dolan for any legal issues. She misrepresents the facts and cost me my case.

My case & the facts:
I received a DUI last year and hired Kathleen as my attorney. I regret that decision. From the very beginning, she was rude. She neglected to inform me of the DUI process and then on the day before I had my first court appearance, rudely asked why I didn't complete my educational classes. I told her I was never informed of the process (classes I needed to take). During our discussion, she agreed that her receptionist failed to follow through and that it was her firm's fault for not informing me of the process. She agreed to move the court date only if I paid her an extra $750. Even though this felt like extortion, I paid her as I wanted a favorable outcome from the judge. A few months later, she claimed that she had a family issue and was unable to attend the day of the sentencing. She sent a junior level replacement, who wasn't informed of the case until I briefed him what had happened. After the sentencing date, I had to complete some paperwork which required Kathleen's signature. She refused to sign the document until I paid her an extra $750 again. Now, I can't move ahead without her signature. I refused to pay her another $750 just so that she can sign the document. Her fees for this case was upwards of $5,000, while she (and her firm) didn't do anything.

Her business practices are highly unethical.She will lie and put all the blame on you, even though you hired her to represent you in court.

Please, please, please do not hire her as an attorney, unless you want the worst possible outcome.

I'm surprised at these negative reviews as mine has been the opposite. I hired her on a recommendation from another top attorney for a traffic case a year ago. I got a negligent driving charge because I hit someone coming off a very steep driveway and he turned the wrong way. She represented me in court, including cross examining the other driver resulting in the charge dismissal, which was better than expected. Her only "mistake" was to warn me about a possible insurance rate increase, which didnt happen, but was prudent anyway.

She is one of the best I've met (and I work with many attorneys daily and have some of the best handle my criminal charges in court, at all levels). At all times she and her office staff was completely competent and professional, really, a bargain given what she charges. I am confident she is very knowledgeable and will do a superior job.
