We are extremely disappointed with the services of Mrs. Kundra’s company. We had a very specific questions to be answered, meanwhile, as a result in her summary letter she 1) gave us the information we never asked for, 2) spend an unreasonable amount of time on investigating the issue, for which she charged accordingly, 2) the main thing - we didn’t get clear answer to our very specific question.
When she sent us the final invoice to review, we objected it in accordance with the terms of the objections described in the contract. We never received the feedback to our objection. Also, we never received the case closure letter nor in mail, nor in the email, and never received the check with the remainder of our funds. Time passed and we never knew that the case was actually closed.
We decided to contact her office again to ask what happens. They insisted they had sent us the check with the remainder of the funds. They also send us the copy of a new version of the final invoice. We found out that she charged us even more than in the final invoice we had, without letting us know.
We saw no intention to negotiate the issue. The impression was that everything that was done was one-sided and unilateral.
Eventually we had to turn to another company that didn’t need the initial consultation, didn’t have to investigate much time on the issue, they even filed the needed forms for us, and charged 10 (!) times lower than Ms. Kundra’s company.
We had a very disappointing experience with the “Kundra & Associates” for extremely high and unreasonable price.

Chaya can be described in a single word: "Fierce"! She is fierce about researching an issue thoroughly. She is fierce about leaving no stone unturned in finding a solution to a client's dilemma. My first meeting with Ms. Chaya Kundra sealed the deal. I wanted a top-flight advocate in my corner and Ms. Kundra is exactly that. She was recommended to me by my long-time family attorney who knew she was highly thought of by her peers. She is extremely knowledgeable about current tax law and just how it’s applied.
