When I first called Thomas Mulinazzi, I was in a desperate need for an attorney and just wanted someone to consult with me on short notice. Thomas spent 45 min on the phone with me as I explained the situation, he asked specific questions and looked up information online as we spoke. Thomas had agreed to have a consult the next day and by the end of the initial phone conversation, I knew I had chosed a great attorney.

Mrs. Kim Sorensen did an outstanding job! From the initial consultation, I knew this law firm and Kim were the perfect fit. I worked with Shannon and she was amazing! At a time I was lost and scared she made sure she covered my back in every way possible. I highly recommend this office. They were great to with work with me but also knowing a bad strict budget and couldn’t afford to spend all my money on a lawyer on my situation.

I hired Mr. Mulinazzi after my divorce was finalized to help with a custody case. My divorce attorney did not want to handle the custody case. Mr. Mulinazzi appeared to have the experience in that area. During the initial consultation Mr. Mulinazzi asked and convinced me to transfer my ongoing QDRO case over to him along with my custody case. He explained that this would streamline the process and I agreed. I paid him a retainer on the spot. In the next two weeks Mr. Mulinazzi did not familiarize himself with my case. Therefore he gave wrong advice twice that would have cost me more money. Luckily I was able to catch him on both of these. In the end because I caught both of his mistakes and called him on it, he informed me that he did not want to represent me anymore and that he would not be available on my court date anyway which was in 6 weeks. I had two weeks to prepare the show cause order because he had done nothing. He kept 2/3 rd of my retainer and with snarky and arrogant e mails he told me I was on my own. I filed complaints against him with the Attorney Grievance Commission and the Committee on the Resolution of Fee Disputes. I do not want anyone else to go through what I went through with Mr. Mulinazzi. I was able to find another attorney who was able to help me with my custody case. My previous attorney agreed to complete my QDRO case. I would not recommend him, but I did not work with any other attorney in this office.

I am so thankful for Michelle Dauksha I was devasted about getting a divorce. She listened to me and what I wanted. She was patient and excellent with explaining the process. If you need a good attorney for a contested divorce, keep looking. This office failed to win arguments in court. Although they repeatedly demanded more and more detailed financial information with explanations to the opposing counsel for the months leading to the court date, they failed to secure basic financial information from the opposing counsel about my former spouse until the night before our court date. In hindsight, it seemed like they did more to help the opposing counsel than to help me. Although they repeatedly stressed their confidence in our case, they failed to get positive results. Buyer beware.

I did not know what my rights are. I did not know what I deserve. He fought for me, when I myself am reluctant to fight. He guided me through the right direction and made me win. It's a journey through the most pressurizing and highly depressing moments. And at the end of all of it, I walked out happily into the sunshine...
