BEST BEST BEST!! I cant say enough about how wonderful Pete was. This past winter I had a civilian write me a ticket! even after the police decided they couldn't tell who was at fault and DIDN'T write me a ticket. Anyway, I had to go to court and I was a wreck!! Pete was incredibly reassuring and patient with all my anxieties. He is a professional who knows what hes doing, In my opinion. My cousin is a lawyer and knows him and suggested him because he said, "Pete's the best" and he is!

I am writing in response to the review by Joe Yodice. I was completely shocked to see that he wrote such a review, as by all accounts, he was perfectly satisfied and actually seemed delighted with the outcome which I negotiated for him. I have been practicing law specializing in the defense of people who are in trouble for 25 years, and I have handled nearing 8,000 clients without a complaint, ethics infraction, or even simply a bad review in my entire career. I contacted Mr. Yodice several times since seeing his review, and he has not given me the courtesy of a response, so I did try to make right whatever his problem is. During the course of representing him, I responded to every single one of his phone calls, and actually sent him letters requesting that he come into my office to review the evidence and his case, but he never came into the office. I am always very happy to review matters with clients and answer every question they may have, both over the phone and in person. These are difficult cases and provoke a great deal of anxiety, so I like to make sure the client is well aware of what might happen. In this particular case, Mr. Yodice had a co-defendant who I was able to refer to a career-long colleague. This colleague was also always present throughout the proceedings, and also assisted and consulted with me during the entirety of the time. Without revealing too many details, I was able to negotiate an excellent outcome with the prosecutor, who was also a career-long colleague. After personally negotiating the outcome of the case, it was scheduled for a special date which could not be moved. I was also scheduled to be in several other courts on the day of the plea, and because this one was already negotiated and "worked out", I called Mr. Yodice and made sure that it would be okay if my associate stood with him as they entered this pre-negotiated plea, and Mr. Yodice specifically said that would be absolutely fine. In fact, and additionally, after that phone discussion, my associate, Mr. Yodice and I had a conference call where we again reviewed the matter together and got ready for court the next day. Mr. Yodice expressed nothing but happiness about the way that we had worked out the case. I would like to add that my associate attorney is actually the most experienced criminal defense attorney in the entire State of New Jersey. There are no attorneys with more experience than him. Mr. Yodice, my associate, his co-defendant, and my colleague put the plea through the next day very smoothly and exactly as we had discussed the previous day, and by all accounts, everyone was satisfied and happy. This is why Mr. Yodice's review is absolutely a complete surprise. In addition to being a surprise, what he says is false. Again, I made several attempts to contact him to rectify his dissatisfaction with no response. I personally handle every single one of my own cases, making as many as 30 appearances in court per week. This often requires 12-14 hour days, 5 days a week. I don't mind it, I love working hard to help people. I appear in over 95% of those court cases, but sometimes the calendar requires that I send an associate, and this is only done in matters such as this, where the case is already negotiated and finished but for the formality of putting the plea on the record in court. Hopefully anyone who might read Mr. Yodice's review will also take the time to read this.
