Jeff handled the closing and all issues that came up for us during the sale of our home. He and his assistant Kim were patient and effiecient. They are quick to respond to all questions and we always knew what was going on. Our sale was a bit complex but he handled it with great professionalism! At the closing we were nervous, but he sat and explained the paperwork and is really a nice guy! We are very thankful for all he did. I thought long and hard before writing this review because I worked with Jeff Siedsma about 4 years ago and had a great experience. Within 45 days, Jeff worked quickly to get us a resolution to our legal issues and I never wrote a positive review...and should have. Because of this positive experience, I reached out to Jeff for some legal help again. The experience with Jeff has been so drastically different I wanted to write a review to spare anyone else from the frustration, lack of action, loss of time to work on a case and non-existent communication I experienced with Jeff Siedsma this time. On December 3rd I had an initial call with Jeff Siedsma, provided a billing code and he agreed to take my case. I emailed the information requested by Jeff Siedsma on December 3rd. On December 5th sent an email asking if he received the information I sent and asked if I needed to provide any further information. Jeff’s response, “I received the email.” Over the next 22 days Jeff never returned a call or email. I was trying to give the benefit of the doubt that things may be slower because of the holidays. After December 5th, Jeff Siedsma never replied to my calls or emails simply requesting next steps and when I could expect him to start working on the case. On December 27th I sent an email stating that I was cancelling the billing code provided and that I no longer needed his services. I am a firm believer that if you are paying someone for a service, there should be a mutual open line of communication and partnership to achieve a shared goal, as well as, do the work being paid to complete. I believe if you are hiring a lawyer, you are doing so because you need help with something very important. I should not have to plead for a response from someone who had agreed to help me resolve a legal issue. I reached out to Jeff Siedsma to help resolve a legal issue, he agreed to take my case and over a 22 day period never responded. Jeff’s lack of response has cost me time, delayed my issue from being resolved and caused me personal frustration. Perhaps you will get the Jeff I worked with 4 years ago, the one who did what he said he would do. Perhaps you may get the Jeff who I got this year who took my case and dropped all communication. I thought it was important to share my prior and current experiences so you could make an informed decision with regard to getting the help you need legally.

Jeff and his team are phenomenal to work with. He is fair, communicates well, and has great knowledge in his field. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a real estate attorney. Your attorney can make or break a deal on the home you fell in love with. Put that in the hands of someone you can trust like Jeff.

Bottomline after dealing with many other lawyers Jef is the best attorney I've dealt with in New Jersey for real estate and general business matters. Always available and reasonably priced. He's the only one I use. The only one I trust with my deals.
