After reviewing the circumstances Donald and his staff helped us correct and eliminate the objections objections that medicaid had cited in denying the application. He then proceeded to re-apply for medicaid with a "but for gift" penalty period. Our circumstances made this a very complex procedure, but we were successful in getting an approval of benefits with a "penalty period." Donald's staff was extremely helpful. Maura was very thorough and explained everything in detail as she documented all the information that medicaid required for the application. Don helped us with a guardianship matter. He and his staff were very professional and knowledgeable and handled the matter expeditiously. We are very happy with the service provided and would seek his advise and services in the future.

My mother was referred to this lawyer to prepare her will by a person that didn't realize that my mother didn't have much of anything to begin with. Instead of asking her some vetting questions to see if he really necessary for her needs, he told her she needed to pay $350 and they would have a 90 minute appointment by phone to discuss her will. She paid him this money, against the advice of multiple people. On the day of her phone appointment, he called her 75 minutes later than the set time and then spent exactly 15 minutes on the phone with her. The next communication she had was a letter stating that in order for things to proceed, she needed to send him another $500. Her family and friends were able to convince her that this was unnecessary and she completed a will and POA in the hospital with witnesses and a notary. She passed away three days later, before receiving any more documents or communication from the lawyer. I think the actions of this attorney are abhorrent. Once he realized how little she had to begin with, he should have refunded her and advised her appropriately. In reality, he never should have taken her money to begin with. Shame on you, Mr. Vanarelli.
