Hi if I could I wouldn’t give a star Amanda she is so rude since the first day I met with her to start my paper work she did not had the energy to help ,rudely she ask to have the papers ready for her, while she used the bathroom and with a condensending mood .I wish she was a little bit more classy she is a gourgeus woman but attitude it’s nasty! I spoke to few of her coworkers and said I was not the first person to get up from her office ,She said I am going to the bathroom when I comeback I hope you have everything ready she made me print hundreds of pictures she ask me to put names on all the pictures on them to show who was in the photos she said the more the better when they only took 15 out of 200 and they did not need names so the ones I had put names was garbage when I wanted to cancel before they start my case since I had sing the papers Barbara did not want to give me my money back and she personally took care of it.The worst experience ever she doesn’t let you talk she talks over when you are trying to explain she only cares about payments so the reason of this review it’s yes she got my paper work done but she got paid so no favors here because she did said all I done for you wth she is talking about she was not doing it for free she got paid and very well for her services so Barbara when you read this remember you did not do a favor so take that off your mouth next time you talk to a client.she always had a mistake with my name last name and of course she send the wrong address to immigration not once few times when she had bills to just copy the address and still waiting for my working permit thank god the letter was return if not I would of been screwed all the money that they charge for a mistake like that there is no excuse I have found better lawyers to keep on with my case. they already had my permit approval and she had no idea about it she made an excuse of how manny clients she has screaming her lungs out walking away she mouthed me but not face to face she did it when she was walking out of the room when we both received a letter thank god I had an address if not she would of charge me even to take it from her hands she called me to make more payments and that’s when I told her I had it then she said oh yes yes I got the letter she was not done with a case she wanted to start the other one means money she told me she would start with some money it’s a lie she took a month to send my paper work because she had family problems really!!!! ????? So when she wanted to start the next case she ask for few to start then she change her mind and said I will not start until I pay her fees first no lawyer does that so you have to pay her so she can start so she looses interest I have no idea or her rehabilitation issues might get in the way but I wouldn’t for a million dollars send someone there for the experience I had all the screaming Barbara did by phone and in person i was disappointed it’s been 4 months and I am still waiting for my permit she charges double or triple the price for all the screaming and does mistakes she makes not worth it .please think twice before you get your self in a situation like mines I will be recording every call just Incase you dear your self to thread me again oh yeah I for got when I was in the middle of that case she said if I did not like it to get another lawyer what a waste of time this lady can be .

After living my life in a limbo of uncertainty for over 20 years, I found Barbara Brandes and thank God I did! Prior to meeting Barbara I had an expired TPS status status and now I am thrilled to say I am a permanent resident! The entire process was extremely quick in my opinion. From the time the initial forms were sent out (May 2019) it took a total of 7 months to receive notice that my case was approved and that I would be receiving my card in the mail (January 2020). Barbara is a very serious, no non sense lawyer that knows her stuff, unlike no lawyer that I have met or heard of honestly. She is on top of all of the up to date immigration laws. So if you are in a situation and not certain what to do, who to go to, or even if another lawyer told you they could not help you, call her office! Because if something can be done, she knows!

Barbara is an excellent immigration lawyer. She is very professional, knowledgeable… It was great to have her by our side during the interview. She made sure we were well prepared with all the documents and was there every step of the way. I would recommend her to all my friends and anyone who have to deal with the Immigration office.

I was in this country undocumented. my sister had filed for me and was told to Go back to my country to pick up the green card. I went to an immigration lawyer service and they were unable to help me.
