Great lawyer. Whole office is full of great people.

The paralegal there doesn't do her job. She is not assertive and does not care about the clients. I had to sit in a dank hotel room for 5 days, in the arm pit of Georgia because she wasn't assertive enough to have my house close on time. Stay away, far away from this office.

I would give Richard Cohen zero stars if I could. Him and his office was an absolute nightmare to work with. I would never recommend them to anyone looking for a lawyer. He didn’t even come to our closing, didn’t notify us and we had no idea who the women was that walked in. Not even from his office!! He is an absolute rip off!! Please save yourself grief and use someone else!!

Richard Cohen is an absolute criminal! Office staff was completely incompetent losing my file twice. Hired him for a house closing and after giving me his resume for an hour of how great he is at his job, he proceeded to ignore my request to have closing costs included in my mortgage. Long story short 24 hours before the closing I was told I needed another 20k for the closing cost. He then DID NOT SHOW UP for the closing at his office following day. This guy and his entire staff are the worst, stay away!

Don’t not use him!!! Absolute hack!! Extremely unprofessional. Used him on the sale of our townhouse and he completely undermined the deal and caused our buyer to back out. Then lied and said it wasn’t his fault.

If not for Mr. Cohen's paralegal Lisa. I would have not had any updates in regards to our closing. Lisa his paralegal was always available to speak to my self and other family members with circumstances related to the closing. Mr. Cohen him self was never available to speak with us and left his responsibilities to his paralegal Lisa and other staff members. The only time we met with him was on our first initial meeting to sign the necessary paper work to begin the proceedings to sign the contract to purchase our home. Even on that day he rushed us through the signing stating" I have a more important place to be very shortly". Leaving us with the impression that our time with him was less important. When we called the office to ask to speak with him we would leave several messages and did not receive return telephone calls. I always had to inform his paralegal of this situation and of course she was very professional and apoligenic toward my concerns in regards to Mr. Cohens continued absence with returning telephone calls when we had important questions in regards to our home purchase and closing. Mr. Cohen was also not present on our closing date, and we were not informed of this circumstance until the evening before the closing with no explanation of why he could not be in attendance. We also did not know the name of the attorney we were meeting with until we met her on the day of our closing. On a more positive note my self and my family would like to extend a special THANK-YOU to Lisa Mr. Cohen's paralegal for always being there to retrieve our telephone calls and answer any and all questions we had in regards to our home purchase. Lisa displayed patience and professionalism at all times. When Lisa was unable to answer any questions we had she always returned a telephone call in a prompt manner to ensure our concerns and or questions were answered accordingly and accurately. In my opinion if you have a consultation to meet with Mr. Cohen to work you . I would continue researching other attorneys. I would not want anyone to experience the same unfortanate circurmsatnce we had with hiring Mr. Cohen as our attorney. (Note) the 2 star rating is for Mr. Cohen only. His paralegal Lisa and additional office staff is well deserving of a 5 star rating.

Whether He represented me as a Buyer or a Seller or in a 1031 exchange of property transaction, or a Landlord/Tenant dispute; His expertise, Professionalism, likeability and sense of fairness when dealing with the other party to a transaction is extraordinary. He is a take charge person and gets the job done. I give his firm a 10+

Rick & his associate, Cathleen, are phenomenal!! They made the closing process super smooth and efficient. The staff is also fabulous; everyone is friendly, responsive and really the best in the business.

By the time I got to the closing table Rick had checked and double checked everything to insure a smooth and stress free transaction. His office staff was friendly and great to work with. If i could give them 10 stars I would. Today, I just dont take bad reviews so seriosly because many people who dont get there way, revert back to childhood and become "babies." I know 20 people at least who have worked with this firm INCLUDING ME with NO NO NO issues. Please, take my word and the decades of service Richard and his affectionate caring staff -hire them if you need an amazing attorney ask every realtor in town who the best is. Richard Cohen will be named more often than not.
