I would like to thank Alexis in handling my first time real estate investing experience with her law firm. She is very polite and very professional. She even took the time to explain to me page by page about some documents I received for closing which by the way it was on her spare time to answer all of my concerns about those documents. She responded on every email and text that I had questions and concerns and I got answers. The closing went a little roughy but she was on point with all of the documents that had to be signed as well as any issues that arises. Alexis represented me on my 2-flat purchase and was diligent and thorough in representing my interest in every stage of the purchase process. So much so that the seller, whom I personally knew, was sending me text messages expressing frustration with her. But, as it turned out, he wasn't being totally honest about some things and Alexis' thoroughness revealed it.

I was also impressed with her promptness. Whereas I arrived just on time (and the seller's atty was 40 minutes late), she showed at my closing 30+ minutes before it was scheduled to begin...calling to make sure I was comfortable with the transaction and the seller had followed through on some last minute contractual obligations. 5 star by far!!

For all of your legal needs you must visit the Law Office of Alexis Hart-McDowell. Alexis is an amazing attorney whose knowledge and expertise goes far beyond just real estate.

Alexis assisted me in drawing up POA (Power of Attorney) papers for me and my mother. I was under the assumption that there was only one type of POA, however, she quickly made me aware that was not the case. Alexis took her time to explain the different types; she also gave me professional advice on a couple of other things I should do in order to make sure all t's were crossed and all i's dotted. Alexis took down the necessary information and before I knew it, I had all my paperwork along with instructions.
