Mindy and her team did a great job of helping my family understand the legal aspects of protecting assets. She understood what we needed to accomplish and was extremely sensitive to our mom's perspective and helping her feel comfortable with the process. We really appreciated her and her team's professional, but caring approach.

I strongly disagree with reviews that dismiss Felinton Elder Law as a sales scam. For the past five years, Mindy has worked with three generations of my family on many elder-related issues such as wills, POA's, health-related documents, and, especially, various types of estate planning trusts. Elder care legal considerations are, by their very nature, complex, time-consuming, and expensive. Through all of our interactions, Mindy has balanced the professional and the personal, more than once going our of her way to make last-minute personal accommodations and document changes necessary for our peace of mind. She has gotten to know our entire family: from my late father, to my wife and myself, and now our sons. (And yes, we all enjoy the warm reception her office staff and her canine companions Scruffy and Precious provide at each appointment.) So, if you are looking for quick, cheap elder-related legal packages that promise the world, look to the Internet for shake-and-bake, cut-rate legal advice of dubious value. That's where you will find your scams! Otherwise, if you are ready to be realistic about the hard, emotionally charged work of end-of-life considerations, Felinton Elder Law, with its years of experience, is the real thing.

Mindy Felinton helped my parents prepare their legal documents and set up a trust. She not only explained everything with great care and patience, but she treated us like family. She did not offer any information about possible options for my dad during that initial $500 "consultation" which was not a consultation but a sales pitch. Beware of the bait and switch.

Mindy and her compassionate team helped with establishing an irrevocable trust, power of attorneys across all facets, and assuring wills were in order! In addition, years after the initial help, Mindy saved us so again in obtaining another copy of the documents misplaced in a move!! Amazing service paired with patience and kindness!!

I cannot imagine a better attorney experience than the one our family had with Mindy. She has such extensive expertise in elder law and SOLELY because of this our family was able to keep my mother in the wonderful nursing home she was in for close to 2 years before she passed away. This took a tremendous burden off our shoulders and helped us immensely during a very stressful process.
