I met with Mr.Soobitsky to review documents from a mediated divorce proceeding; he was very thorough and ensured my comprehension in all matters covered in the drafted agreement, as well as informing of my rights and protections before I signed off on the agreement. I very much appreciated his guidance and assistance, and I would recommend his services.

Jayson, and his administrative support staff are extremely professional, and most importantly, communicate very well. There were no questions that remained unanswered. I felt that I knew what was occurring at every phase of my divorce legal proceeding. The service provided was first rate. Jayson is extremely knowledgeable in family law, which I found to be very reassuring. He is calm, but firm in his recommendations. If you are seeking an attorney that is going to claim to beat up and obliterate his legal opponent, Jayson may not do that. However his results were beyond my expectations. I highly recommend his service as an attorney.

A friend recommend Jayson Soobitsky to us to settle an alimony case. So glad she did! It was a tough case and Jayson helped us through the process with competent guidance and a cool head. During the settlement conference, his wisdom and counsel really made all the difference! We are very pleased with Jayson and highly recommend him!

Helped me to Create a Will ensuring minor child who I had recently won Full Custody of with no visitation for other parent was protected in Will if anything were to happen to me while he was still a Minor (Naming a Guardian, giving Guardian access to set $ amount from my Life Insurance to deal with final arrangements—also spelled out in Will so no one would have decisions to make & to cover legal expenses if necessary for child to declare emancipation from other parent if they contested Will) and all other issues no matter my age when I died.

Also developed a Financial Durable Power of Attorney for me in the case that I ever became unable to manage my own finances either temporarily for a short serious illness or injury OR long term serious illness or injury. (I already had a Comprehensive Health Care Proxy in place) or he would have Developed this as well. He asked me many questions to consider that I never would have included had I just completed a form Will on-line. He really cared that our Family’s needs were settled without question. Also, Registered with County Office of Wills for nothing more than the Court Administration Fees.

Highly recommend for any family matters. I happened to use other Lawyers who share same Office Space for Family Court Matters as I met one of them in Court.

I found Soobitsky Law through the AARP/BBB websites. They were highly rated. Jayson and his staff guided me through the divorce process extremely well. As a result I was able to accomplish several goals, most notably obtaining full ownership of my home and a fair financial settlement. I was very pleased with the results. I highly recommend them.

Changed my feedback due to various reasons which include not being prepared for trial such as not collecting notes from expert witnesses prior to trial.

-Advice that lead to the loss of a trial and refusing to take responsibility for said advice. Asking to higher an investigator after the party has been notified that litigation is happening when the initial advice given was that an investigator was not needed is TO LATE! Evidence tends to vanish once the other party becomes aware of litigation.

-Asking questions of witnesses at trial and having constant objections as to leading the witness and I (meaning me and I am NOT an attorney) had to start writing the questions re-worded so that they will not get objected to.

- Filing a Motion To Compel very late therefore the court could not (and would not) issue a ruling on it. Deadline was missed due to providing apposing counsel to much courtesy (Counsel advice) on waiting for documents that they where not providing.

-Estimated a case would cost roughly 12k to litigate, collect evidence etc... We had settlement offers that we rejected on the assumption of that estimate. Actual cost almost exceeded the disputed amount at the trial (disputed amount was roughly 24k). Actual trial cost came to a little over 20k and no warning was given by attorney to settle due to rising costs etc.. and trial was lost due to my earlier comments in this review.

If I had the money and energy to sue them for malpractice I would after 75k in total costs with constant mistakes and a trial record of 0 wins, 2 losses and 1 tie (questionable tie) despite mounting evidence in my favor.

Jayson only had a weeks time to prepare me for my child support hearing; nevertheless, he was the reason I felt confident presenting myself in the courtroom. He is very professional and a genuine person.

I spent over 6,000.00 to try to stop my ex from drinking and driving with my child in the car. Got a court order on a piece of paper stating that it is illegal for him to drive drunk with my daughter in his car. This was done in a very timely 3 weeks. Was happy until I figured it is illegal to drink and drive , period. Guess what? He continues to do so anyway. GREAT JOB!!!
