Nothing was done to help me in my divorce. This Attorney Karin Chatfield Johnson actually hurt my divorce instead of helping me, by lying to my husbands Attorney about me saying I was ”unrespondent”. When all I did was respond to her and check with her to see what I needed to do every other day. This Attorney doesn’t even meet with you in person to go over her contract. She also, refused to let me come to her home office to get my files back. Yelled at me on the phone saying, “ I was harassing her”. I had called once to get my case files nothing more. It was all very strange behavior for an Attorney & unprofessional on her part I felt. My experience with her. Yes I called her only once. She to this day has not offered to return my retainer fee but withdrew from my case. When I asked her why she was lying. No reply nothing. It was if she didn’t care and/or want to do the work as an Attorney just get paid -I felt. Lie to protect herself from getting into trouble not doing her job as my Attorney. Like I said she did nothing. Missed deadlines didn’t inform me of things we needed to do together etc..has offered no refund nothing.
