Ours was a long difficult case. Suzanne and her associate were not only knowledgeable and professional but also sensitive to the difficulties we were experiencing throughout. It was comforting having such a dedicated individual to work with who also showed genuine concern for here clients. We will not miss the situation we were in; but we will miss Suzanne.

I have the upmost respect for all the staff in this office. Attorney Sabol was referred to me by another attorney who had no time to take my case on. She was described as tenacious and a Christian. I was being abused and Ms. Sabol, the former attorney Adam and present attorney Matthew were and are excellent. Sandy the legal assistant is kind, professional and hardworking too. The staff here fought hard for my case, and I received everything I prayed for in my divorce. They have a high level of emotional intelligence too. They understand and are patient. I highly recommend them!!

I can't say enough about Suzanne and her service. She is a wonderful, warm, caring person. I would highly recommend her to anyone and would gladly use her services again.

She is a horrible attorney! I would not hire her again for anything. She treats her clients like they work for her instead of her working for them. She does not communicate well via telephone. When I hire an attorney I expect them to call me when they need information. They lost my documents I had mailed to them. My ex-husband is a narcissistic abuser who has taken my children from me. I had a spiritual awakening and was diagnosed bipolar and therefore am being discriminated against. The doctor in the hospital I was in Miss quoted my husband on my condition. My ex-husband is severely overweight and does not properly care for my children yet they have labeled me as crazy when I am the one who has the more stable environment. I eat healthy and exercise and I have a nice 3 bedroom home. This lawyer is a total rip-off. Do not waste your money on her. I have spent $9,000 with this lawyer and she has done nothing good for me. She is arrogant and does not humble herself and work for her clients the proper way. The entire legal system is set up against poor people. I can no longer afford to fight to get my children back. My ex-husband weighs 450 lb and feeds my children horrible unhealthy food and is verbally and emotionally abusive to them. I'm lucky I escaped from the marriage but he has been using my children as a weapon against me ever since I had my break down from his constant abuse during our marriage. The only reason I let him have the children was because he beat me down so bad emotionally that I couldn't care for them at the time and knew I had no choice but to let him take them. I hired this lawyer and she has done nothing good for me. She and her staff have been incompetent. I wish that I could have my $9,000 back and I would have known to have hired a better lawyer. Even more than that, I wish that I had my children back from my horrible ex-husband. I just pray that when my children are older they will come back to me

Strangely, I have to echo a similar complaint about Ms. Sabol in handling a case involving mental illness claims

I had been a housewife and stay at home mom for 5 years when I wanted a divorce. Unfortunately my husband had me psych-warded based on a call to Netcare and had stolen my journal to give them false evidence.
This should have been an easy case for Suzanne given the fact that my husband actually had me diagnosed from a journal entry that was a dream! My God!

Instead, when I had gotten out, he had the audacity to ask for another psych evaluation this time under domestic affairs instead of using Court Probate! And Suzanne agreed to it and didn't even pass a motion to have him psych evaluated which is common practice when one party accuses the other of such egregious accusations. The guardian even mentioned this lack of insight.

I ended up firing her after 2 months and $6800 squandered.

Things actually got better once I fired her and started to speak for myself. Unfortunately she made things so bad I'm still having to deal with supervised visits 2 years later that she should have been able to get me out of...or at least set me up with a facility that was free of charge. Yes...even with a lawyer I was forced to pay a large fee for supervised visits. When I fired her, I asked the magistrate to send me to Buckeye Ranch, a service that's based on income. For me it was free and world's nicer than anything she arranged. What's more, to save money she should have advised me to fill out an affidavit of indigency, which would significantly reduced the court fees.

So why the two stars? Objectively speaking, if it's an easy case, her fees are reasonable and she'll do ok (actually it really depends on who she hands the case too. As of 2017 there was no computer in her office, only in her Jr associates'. I find that rather telling and concerning. Even for the purposes of e-filing motions there should be a computer. I think she is experiencing some type of visual impairment or inability to read/see. I don't think this should be held against her at all but lends itself to the tendency of her just passing things onto her less experienced associates...like Matthew).

If this is a simple case and you don't mind spending the money or you feel this is within her expertise, go for it. She does well in court but could have stronger arguments. For more contested and complex cases, she does not have the stamina for it or aggression to deal with abusers, misanthropes, and degenerates. White collar ”respectable” conflicts, no problem.

Update: I have to mention that as a client, not once did Suzanne mention or educate me on ANY of my rights as a parent going through a divorce and what I would have been entitled to after the divorce, whether as the resident or non residential parent. I was also on a tight budget which she was not sensitive to. Two years of studying the aftermath of her two months as my lawyer and then finding sound legal advice, what she was hired for and messed up in 2 months, I will now spend the next 5-15 years of my son's life trying to undo.

Objectively I still hold to the two stars but must say Suzanne is unethical and should actually be held accountable for such a breach of fiduciary standards. Unfortunately this is a common problems with our justice system and undoubtedly Suzanne will get away with her mistakes. Please do not believe all the positive reviews. Find a better lawyer who will work for you and EDUCATE you while protecting your rights. I detest people like Suzanne as there are no personal consequences for her despite messing up so badly. And she has the audacity to call herself Christian.

My life at 28 was ruined by her legal advice. I'm now 30 and wish I had never run across this lawyer. Please learn from my tragedy and find a more competent lawyer or do the research yourself. There are people at Capital University who can help you much better than her and her staff.
