Several years ago I attended a free seminar on Estate Planning given by David Boone that was sponsored by AARP through the Downers Grove Senior Center. His presentation was very informative and ended with him saying that his firm offers a free consultation. Years later when I finally needed help with my estate planning, I had contacted several estate planning lawyers who were recommended to me, but found that they charged very high consultation fees.
Remembering David Boone, I contacted his office for an appointment not certain of the quality of his free consultation. My Trustee and I were amazed at being greeted by several of David Boone’s professional associates and led into a large conference room. David himself was not able to attend, but made himself available through video conferencing on a large TV screen.
Our consultation lasted nearly two hours in which we were given detailed advice on how to proceed as well as other valuable information. Needless to say, we were very impressed with David Boone and his professional associates who gave us more than we expected and would highly recommend him.

My wife and I used the services of David Boone's office to create a living trust. Their fee was very reasonable, much less than some of the other law offices, but their service was very thorough. His assistants even sat with us to call all our financial sources to make sure our assets were properly titled for the trust. Their package included powers of atty for health care, living wills, and clear instructions for survivors, all delivered to us in a neat binder. They also provided optional investment advice as well as the offer of a free annual review to see if any amendments are needed. Very satisfied with their services.
