THE BEST for uncontested divorce, great communication answering all my questions, highly recommended

David centeno and his associates made the process simple, quick and answered all questions. They keep you abreast of the process and anything that might cause an issue or delay.

When during the case I had to call to know about my case cause they wouldn’t move forward, seems like as if they would’ve left my case aside to work in new ones, every time I was calling them I would find out about something they should’ve told me months ago! I lost so much time about a year and a half! My case was one that my wife didn’t sign but still the whole process took about a year and a half which is insane! Maybe if you have an easy case that both parties agree and sign this form would work but my personal experience was not good at all.

Great law firm! Getting divorce is not an easy process, however Mr. Centeno and his team made as easy as possible. They informed me every step of the way. I paid expedited, it took approximately 3 months from the time I submitted online to final judgment, but this was due to some requests by my ex-husband and it was also during the holidays. Everyone is extremely helpful, professional and friendly. There was no need for me to show up to court. I would definitely recommend.

I have so many great words about this firm, i will try to keep it short.
First let me say they have outstanding service, i work in the cusomer service industry, and now i am better at my job by dealing with this team, perfect customer service.
I have to mention that before this i went to another lawyer and they were so unprofessional had to go back and forth at their office like 4 times with no result.
Divorce is supposed to be a complicated thing, but here everything went smooth.
But with this firm i never even had to step in their office, everything was done online, much cheaper than other firms, and they handled everything perfectly that my divorce was approved 2 months before the original estimaded time.

Not at all sure how there are so many positive reviews, all I could say is that I wish I had been one of them. As much as I wanted things to work with Mr Centeno, unfortunately it did not. Cons: I had to provide all documentation rather than the lawyer obtaining them himself. I mostly spoke to Holly, but when I did speak to Mr Centeno it was never pleasant. Initially I paid $1200, not including notarizing the documents and mailing it back to them, a few months down the line they requested an additional $640 (which I also paid) and lastly a few weeks before my case got "thrown out" even though I paid for an extension [another con] I was asked to pay another $400. I refused to pay that last fee and they somehow now could "continue" the case, only for me to get an email a week later saying that its too late and filed in the wrong county. Needless to say, I will not be going back nor recommending anyone. This experience made me question every lawyer I approach now. STEER CLEAR unless you want to be scammed.

Was nervous when choosing someone to help represent and ensure my divorce was smooth and quick, but I chose the right place. I usually don't write reviews but let me tell you these guys rock! I was very pleased with the kind of service provided by this firm. Throughout the whole process they were concise and clear about what needs to be done. Holly, the Paralegal, did a wonderful job following up on everything. Emails were replied to in a timely manner. Highly recommended, these guys won't let you down!!!

David Centeno is the worst.  I hired him to represent me in my divorce.  I live in California now and was married in New York.  David and I agreed that he may have to call my wife and use what ever lawyerly charm he may have to cajole her to sign the divorce papers.  After I paid The down payment his assistant said they don't make phone calls on clients behave.  What lawyer refuses to make calls on the client's behave?  Especially when it was agreed to prior to hiring the attorney.

I would constantly have to call to make sure things are getting done and he would call back days later to return my call.  I hired him to serve my wife the divorce papers and I would call to check on the status and his assistant gave me the, 'Don't call us, we'll call you' type of answer.  It's bad enough that, in my opinion, he grossly over charges for the personal service but then he doesn't produce to even come close to justifying the charge.

He claims 30 days for a divorce then also falsely claims he has some type of closely held method for doing it but his "secret" is he files in Buffalo where the case loads are not as heavy as in New York City.

Long story short I had to fire him.  I tried to give him a chance to make things right but he had the nerve to try and require me to sign a document to not write bad reviews about him.  As you can see I did not agree to that ludicrous request.  

He has a review on here where the guy wrote a poor review in 2014 and David answered it in 2017.  Three years later!  What does that tell you?  What's the use of answering now?  The guy could have, God forbid, passed away by now.

Do yourself a favor and do not hire David Centeno.

David you are the best and the best ever. From the beginning to the end you insure me that you are committed to your job and your clients. Even when you are on vacation you make sure your assistant Holly take care of my Divorce processing. You call me and response to all my emails and for that I give you 10 SUPER STARS. Being from different culture and background you David understood me. Although we had difficultly with the judge you was still positive. I really appreciate you and your teams.

David and Tristan were extremely helpful with my divorce. I was unable to locate my husband and David and his team assisted me with a publication divorce. They attempted to find my husband initially and when they were unable to, they successfully completed the publication divorce. It would have been extremely difficult to do it on my own and with their help it was little to no effort on my part to get this completed. And they are very affordable. I have been told a publication divorce is very time consuming and very costly and with them it was neither. I'm sorry I didnt utilize them sooner. 30 day divorce is accurate. We provided our information on December 3 to David via his website. With a few corrections it was filed December 24. The decree was signed January 9. Amazing speed. It was an uncontested action with minor children where we agreed on everything in advance. His staff was quick to respond. David knows his stuff. Worth using. Having a flat rate is also a good point.
