Sandra Radna has one objective and that is to line her pockets. She used every tactic to lengthen the duration of my divorce. She started petty arguments, used personal attacks on my parenting skills and rather than help keep the peace to resolve issues between my ex and I, she blew everything out of proportion to extend the fights. Unfortunately, I learned too late that they were all tactics used to make more money...Our divorce would have been over in less than a year but it lasted over 2 years in court and cost us our family's entire savings. Over 100K! Our divorce was a basic divorce and used basic agreements so why did it cost this much? She stopped the petty arguments when our money finished, was that a coincidence? I think not. I complained on BBB also, about her lack of ethics and conflict of interest in insisting on using her Real Estate friend from the office next door to sell our house. We didn't fall for that. I wonder how many of her clients did? You say its sour grapes, Ms. Radna, but I have proof your tactics and practices are selfish and cruel. You take advantage of people when they are already down and vulnerable. Disgusting.

Not a great experience there for myself

Sandra was an amazing help for me and more importantly my son. She is very kind, personable, professional and understanding. I am very happy she was there to represent me and my case. She is an all around great person, who I highly recommend for anyone going through the unfortunate process of family court.

My husband and I first met Sandra Radna at a Hope for Youth charity event a few years ago. So, we decided to schedule a consultation to discuss the drawing up of our wills and health care proxies. Although quite young, having lost both of my parents to terminal illnesses, I knew firsthand the importance of having wills and health care proxies drawn up by an experienced legal expert.

We felt at ease from the moment we entered Ms. Radna’s office. Her staff was friendly and courteous as Ms. Radna was warm and professional. We knew that she was very knowledgeable in these areas and immediately felt comfortable in sharing all of our personal information. Within a week, we were invited back to her office to review the documents, make any necessary changes and sign them. My husband and I now have the peace of mind of knowing that should anything happen to us, our daughters would know exactly what to do and that they would be taken care of.

I unfortunately did not have a favorable experience with Sandra. Hired Sandra Radna to represent me in my divorce. Problem with not listening to clients wants/needs. She took it upon herself to use standard visitation wording in a settlement agreement when I specifically stated my concerns with my children and their father. It was my biggest concern with leaving my husband. She inserted this wording without my knowledge or consent. Charged me for the changes when I explained how the wording was unacceptable. Left out my husbands pension in the settlement agreement. Big item that was overlooked. I did catch the mistake before it went to my husbands attorney. Not something I would expect to be overlooked for $450/hour. 8 months into my divorce, $17,000 in fees from this woman. It’s insane. We only went to court 1 time in those 8 months. Her retainer fee $9,000!

Later on I asked for temporary spousal support, she took it upon herself to add things to the motion that I didn't want or ask for. When I question her about these issues, she becomes very confrontational. Instead of explaining, she becomes defensive. She was without compassion for my situation, very uncaring. Oh and her fees are really high. $2,700 mistake, asking her to try and get me some temporary support during my divorce. She sees it as an opportunity to make a lot of extra money. Doesn’t consider clients circumstances. When I questioned her as to why this document wasn’t what I asked for, she told me I had to find a new attorney. She’s a bully. She said I had a week or she’d go to the courts and relieve herself of the case. Cut off all communication with me after all the money I gave her. She is completely unprofessional, and devoid of compassion for other people’s situations. $17,000 in 8 months. You decide if she’s worth it.

Thank god I switched. New attorney listens to me. Very, very important. So if you like dismal communication and endless bills and you don't question anything she decides to do or forgets to include, go to Sandra. She won't disappoint. My new attorney listens to me, 3 months into the case I haven’t even exhausted the $3,000 retainer and we’ve gone to court multiple times. My new attorney can’t wrap her head around the charges I incurred. I was ripped off, don’t make the same mistake.

Sandra is a very caring, sincere and honest attorney. She has always been upfront and honest with me whether I wanted to hear it or not but needed too nonetheless. Always steering me in the right direction. Her office staff is quite efficient and productive. As a business owner and Long Island networker, I have and still do recommend her with complete confidence to not only the long island business community but to friends and family as well. And many, that I have recommended her too,, have used her for various legal issues and with great satisfaction.
