Hiring this guy to represent me was a huge mistake. Enough said.

Mr. O'Brien does not return calls, but he will charge you for listening to your messages. He makes decisions without your knowing regarding your case. He charges high fees while you do most of the work for yourself. I fought for my quit claim deed to be signed by my ex on my own, but O'Brien got possession of it and now won't give it to me or any of the other necessary paperwork needed for my refinance and for my kids access to their college funds. I would strongly encourage anyone who is looking for a divorce attorney to look elsewhere. His secretary is nice and tries to be helpful. She is the only one who will return calls or emails, but she directs the messages back to him promising that he will call back. 90% of the time he doesn't. My divorce was supposed to be fairly simple, but any delays or errors in the process he blamed on my ex, who was usually not the one at fault, but rather it was a money game from the attorneys on both sides.
Divorce is messy and painful. You really want an attorney who won't take advantage of the situation and make it worse.

Attorney O'Brien got me a very favorable divorce and child support settlement. His experience and advice went a long way to helping me get everything I could have possibly hoped for during a very difficult time for me.
